Job Description
1 Management of the Press/assembly Shop with various types of machines and processes. 2 Maximisation of utilisation of manpower through time study, job-planning and incentive scheme. 3 Maximisation of utilisation of machine through hour-planning, capacity enhancement, quick change-over and on-line preventive maintenance. 4 Maximisation of material yield and minimisation of wastes through process capability study, KAIZENs and design modification of tools and strip layout. 5 Minimisation of work-in-progress through sequence planning and KANBAN. 6 Minimisation of handling and auxiliary work through improved work-flow and layout. 7 Monitoring of operational expenses with budgetary control.
